at this moment the cd defines where i am in life, as any mix does when it is made. It is probably more accurate to say that where I am in life defines the music or that my condition brings about the relationship i make between the music and my life.
Maybe i can stick to science or music blogging. Those aren't as confusing or personal. About the mix quickly: Belbury Poly's "Willows": listened to outside of airport in London waiting for plane home from trip in Germany. Almost made me cry happiness by the way it moved me. "Moonchild" and "Sweetness" by King Crimson and Yes are both in one of my favorite movies, Buffalo 66. There are two other great tracks from that movie: Stan Getz track and a cover of fools rush in by vincent gallo's father. "Trois Gymnopedies"- originally an Eric Satie composition redone by the king of synthesizers. Joy Division's frontman, Ian Curtis, committed suicide while listening to Iggy Pop's album the Idiot which includes the track "Tiny Girl".
More music, science, or personal matters to come..maybe.
